Mohave Community College

Mohave Community College offers Grants, Scholarships, Student Employment and Loans to all qualified students in all eligible academic disciplines.

Marie Pedersen is counseling students in Financial Aid opportunities.Students MUST - Be admitted to MCC; be enrolled in an eligible program (major); enroll for a minimum of six (6) credit hours for most aid and have completed the FAFSA (application for federal aid).

You may apply by visiting the Financial Aid office in the student services buildings at the Bullhead City campus, Lake Havasu City campus, North Mohave campus, or the J. Leonard and Grace Neal Campus - Kingman.

All students are seen on a walk-in basis; no appointments are necessary. You may also contact the financial aid staff at:

Federal Student Loan Information

Student Loans for all first time student borrowers for subsidized and unsubsidized student loans must have a completed free application for Federal student aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Then complete Loan Entrance Counseling and e-sign the MPN (Master Promissory Note). Loan Exit Counseling

Before you graduate (or if you drop below half-time attendance), regulations require that you complete an exit counseling session. The counseling session provides information about how to manage your student loans after college. Click here to go to the Stafford Loan Exit Counseling website.

  • The vast majority of MCC students who apply for free financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), received some form of financial aid!
  • A family of four with one in college and an adjusted gross income of $40,000 dollars qualify for up to $1,900 in a Pell grant alone!
  • All students maintaining academic progress (click HERE to see Awarding Criteria) are eligible for some form of aid whether it is student loans, student employment, scholarships, or grants!
