LSH010B Tai Chi- The forms of Tai Chi are a traditional Chinese approach to exercise, meditation, and personal growth. Practiced both for health and self-defense, its graceful, flowing movements are at the same time beautiful, healthful and powerful. Its practice promotes an inner calm and a tranquil attitude, enhancing self-awareness. 12 hours.

LSH010D Chi Gong- Qigong can help practitioners to learn diaphragmatic breathing, an important component of the relaxation response, which is important in combating stress. It is an exercise that builds the immune system and strengthens the body through a series of slow yoga or Tai Chi like moves performed in synchrony with deep breathing rhythms. The result of regular Qigong exercises is a peaceful mind, an invigorated body and a calm spirit more capable of handling daily stresses. 12 hours.

LSH011B Yoga- Beginning yoga, slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated meditation. This is a good place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga. 12 hours.

LSH080 Pressure Points- Discover pressure points that anyone can use to relieve pain in the human body. Eliminate pain from headaches to back pain and beyond. 8 hours.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an advanced form of the Japanese Jujitsu. It is predominantly a ground-fighting art. The defense techniques are all based on leverage, making it possible for the fighter to beat stronger and heavier opponents. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu uses the opponent’s strength and force against themselves.

Karate is related to judo but stresses striking techniques, through kicks and punches, rather than wrestling or throwing an opponent. Karate as a means of self-defense has the oldest history, going back hundreds of years. 12 hours.

LSP075 Fencing- Learn the basic skills necessary to fence competitively or for recreation.
12 hours.

LSP105 Golf- Try your hand at basic golf lessons that will get you on the course feeling confident and comfortable. Learn golf etiquette, rules, equipment handling, chipping, putting and full swing. The class will play a round of golf upon completion of instruction. 8 hours.

LSP120A Kayaking Moving River- This class is an introduction to safe and enjoyable use of a kayak, on gentle rivers using both sit-inside and sit-on-top types of kayaks. Basic strokes, paddling in currents and how to read moving water will be covered. Fees: Vendor

LSP120C Kayaking Topock Gorge- This class is an adventure trip. Enjoy wildlife by kayak or canoe down the 14 miles of the Topock Gorge. Explore back waters, small beaches and a Mohave Indian Petroglyph panel along the way. Fees: Vendor

LSP120D Kayaking Black Canyon- This flat water trip will take approximately 2 hours driving time on each side of the kayaking adventure and 7 hours kayaking and exploring hot springs, sauna cave and slot canyons in the 11 mile trip from base of Hoover Dam to Willow Beach. Fees: Vendor

LSP120E Kayaking By Moonlight- Come float and paddle the Colorado River and watch the moon rise and the stars come out. The 11 mile trip will launch at Davis Dam and pass the casinos of Laughlin and finish at Bullhead City Rotary Park. Fees: Vendor
