Mohave Community College

Want to learn how to run your own business?
MCC can help you become an entrepreneur.

Over the next decade, a majority of the U.S. job growth and economic expansion is forecast to come from the start-up and growth of entrepreneurial enterprises and small businesses. Mohave Community College is offering an Entrepreneurship Certificate and an Associate of Applied Science in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management that can jump-start your career as a small business owner.

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management - Learn how to start a new business or purchase an existing one. This 62-credit degree program offers hands-on experience with business plan development, marketing, record keeping, advertising, management and leadership skills, salesmanship and computer applications.

Entrepreneurship Certificate - Earn a certificate in entrepreneurship in less than one year of full-time study – just 19-credit hours. These courses will teach you how to think like an entrepreneur and how to recognize new business opportunities. You will receive training on business plan preparation and idea generation as well as an introduction to marketing, accounting principles and financing.
