If you are a veteran of the United States armed services, you may be entitled to special VA Education Benefits.
MCC provides services to veterans, widows and dependents who may be eligible for educational assistance from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Services offered include application for educational benefits, student job placement, tutorial assistance and services for disabled veterans.
Satisfactory academic progress standards for veterans benefits recipients are not the same as those for other financial aid recipients. For details, contact MCC's VA Certifying Official. It is important to note that the VA will only pay for classes that are required for the degree or certificate the student is pursuing.
