Mohave Community College

Qualified residential and commercial electricians are needed nationwide. To help meet the demand, MCC is offering state-of-the-art programs developed in accordance with the standards set by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER).

MCC provides students with the basics to work as electricians in the field. Employers prefer to hire electricians who have completed technical school training like that offered at MCC.

Associate of Applied Science - Electrical Technology -  This degree prepares graduates to enter the electrical field with skills in electrical theory, maintenance and installation necessary to be a successful residential and industrial electricity, power distribution systems, electric motors and controls, and low-voltage system installation and maintenance.

Certificates

  • Electrician - Graduates have the skills needed to be successful as electricians in the workplace. Residential and industrial electricity, power distribution systems, electric motors and controls, and low-voltage system installation and maintenance are covered.
  • Residential Wiring - Prepares student for entry-level employment as a residential wiring installer.
  • Industrial Electrical Maintenance - These students are prepared for advanced-level employment in installation & maintenance as required in an industrial setting, and is designed for individuals who have electrical workplace experience.
