Meet the new Student Multimedia Reporter for LHC Campus!

Hello Everyone!

I would like to take a second to formally introduce myself; my name is Verenice Ramirez and I am the new Student Multimedia Reporter for Mohave Community College’s Lake Havasu City campus.

I am excited for this opportunity to showcase all that MCC has to offer this semester but let’s start with a little bit about myself.

I was one when my family and I moved from Southern California to the beautiful, and very sunny, Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I am the second youngest in a family of four daughters, fun fact: my two older sisters are both MCC alumni!

I am currently in my second year of pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Administration of Justice. Although I knew at an early age that I wanted to help others and make a difference in my community, it wasn’t until my senior year that I discovered pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice field would be my way of fulfilling that goal. Down the line, I hope to transfer to ASU Havasu to study Criminology.

In my free time I enjoy reading mystery and thriller novels, playing video games, jamming out to music, and photographing Havasu’s beautiful scenery.

During my time as a Student Multimedia Reporter I am determined to provide helpful tips for MCC students such as scholarship information, study tips, and information about the many academic resources available to students. I also hope to keep you all informed on student clubs, on-campus events, and community happenings.
