Halloween event

Friday, October 26th Mohave Community College was visited by many ghouls, goblins, witches and warlocks with many tricks up their sleeves and treats in their baskets! The turnout was genuinely incredible and a collection of games set up around campus entertained not just children, but adults as well.

Faculty and other volunteers participated in a pumpkin decorating contest.

Parents walked with their children around in the endeavor to not miss one game, candy stop, or spooky display! The decorations were spread out so that parents could have memorable family photos.

The nursing program put on their infamous and spooky Haunted Hospital again this year with aid from the dental program. The display had demonstrated just the right amount of chilling and unnerving patients to make the hair on your arms rise up a bit.

I for one had a blast just analyzing all the energy that was put into the entirety of this year’s Pumpkin Fest. An occasion like this is far from easy to plan so congratulations to all staff and volunteers who were involved their efforts did not go unappreciated! Events like this are wonderful for our community as they give children a chance to participate in safe but fun activities with their families. This shows, to me, that Mohave Community College is not just a college, but that MCC cares for and wants to contribute to the community and make it a more fun, safe, and family centric environment.

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!
