MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College students get free, on-demand, individual support from expert online tutors across a wide variety of subjects – from beginner to advanced, up to 24 hours a day.
MCC has been partnered with Smarthinking for seven years to provide online tutoring and writing review services to all students.
“We have been using Smarthinking for several years and it has been a great resource for our students. Smarthinking can provide tutoring on a variety of subjects including Allied Health programs,” said Kay Lynn Trybus, MCC Student Success Director.
Trybus added, the service is convenient for students to get the help they need, when they need it and it’s free.
MCC students have found the tutors to be “amazingly helpful” and “clear and concise”.
Smarthinking, provided by Pearson Education, connects students with experienced educators and professionals for tutoring support. Students can work one-on-one in real-time with an expert tutor using a virtual whiteboard, schedule an appointment in advance or submit a question at anytime. Help is available in the following subjects: health sciences, reading, writing, nursing math, business and more.
