MCC is proud to host this great presentation to honor veterans on November 12. While Veterans Day is actually on November 11 and the college will be closed in honor of our Vets that day, MCC wanted to honor them with this special presentation by Navy Seal (ret.) Ty Smith. He is a highly decorated retired United States Navy SEAL Senior Chief, with 20 years of service, and six tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is Founder and CEO of CommSafe AI, a technology company that specializes in conflict and violence prevention, and whose customers include Fortune 500 companies. Smith has become a top most authority in combating conflict and violence and has been quoted among numerous publications for his insight into how to identify and reduce violent situations. Smith received a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University in 2015 and a Master of Business for Veterans from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business in 2016. He currently serves on the Ashford University Board of Trustees.
