MOHAVE COUNTY – The Bighorn Athletics Booster Club is hosting a fundraiser at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course in Kingman called the Bighorn Scramble.
The charity golf tournament will help raise funds to support the tristate region’s first-ever National Junior College Athletic Association, NJCAA, Men’s and Women’s soccer teams.
Players in the Bighorn Scramble will have an opportunity to win prizes, including a new vehicle with a value of up to $40,000.
The charity golf tournament is scheduled for 7:30 a.m., Saturday, May 20 at Cerbat Cliffs. There are three people to each team and there are still some team spots available, but community members are encouraged to act quickly before those fill up.
The Bighorn Scramble is a Calcutta/Golf Tournament set for Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20.
The fun begins at the Kingman Elks Lodge, Friday at 5:30 p.m. with the Calcutta, which is open to sponsors and players. Then the tournament starts Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
Funds raised will help support the development of the MCC Bighorns Men’s & Women’s Soccer teams.
Some sponsorship packages for the tournament are still available.
