Cambridge International Exams (CIE)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Cambridge International Exams (CIE)?

High school students who successfully complete Cambridge International Exams (CIE) can shorten the time it takes to complete a college degree by applying credits earned from CIE exams to degrees, certificates, and AGEC requirements. Cambridge courses may also assist in placement determination, depending on the receiving institution.

How do I request my Cambridge Exam Scores to be sent to MCC or other institutions?

Scores must be received directly from the Cambridge (CIE) participating high school. The grade of Transfer Credit “TC” is posted for those who successfully pass CIE exams on MCC’s transcripts. CIE credits will be re-evaluated upon transfer. There is no guarantee that courses accepted by MCC will be accepted by other institution.
