AZ Quest Grant

Tuition assistance is available for adults who were impacted by COVID and need help paying for college. Students who are pursuing a qualifying workforce program offered by Mohave College and plan on finishing by the Fall 2025 semester may qualify.

Available grant funding provides scholarships and support so students can successfully complete training programs.

For MC students & Arizona residents affected by the pandemic:

  • Lost wages when schools/daycares were closed
  • Lost wages when employer was closed by state order
  • Lost wages due to vaccine mandate
  • Back at work earning less than before the pandemic

All that’s required is a:

  • Social Security Card
  • Driver’s License (or other appropriate ID documentation)
  • Complete enrollment paperwork and a testament to how
    the pandemic impacted earning capability.

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College and ARIZONA@WORK are partnering to boost workforce training and offer tuition coverage for unemployed and underemployed residents throughout the region.

It is part of a federal program called the Quality, Jobs, Equity, Strategy and Training (QUEST) Disaster Recovery Dislocated Worker Grant (DWG), commonly referred to as the QUEST grant. MCC is the fiscal coordinating agent for the grant in Mohave and La Paz counties. ARIZONA@WORK is providing Career Counselors and support services to assist qualifying participants.
